MINARA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the Albuquerque community in the areas of Homeless Feeding, Islamic Da’wah, Health & Wellness, Language Arts & Calligraphy, Martial Arts (Judo) and Archery Classes. Eid al-Fitr 1446 AH (2025) is Monday, March 31st
As’Salaamu ‘Alaikum, the hilal moon has not been sighted (as of 8:47pm MT on 3/29/25) and we confirmed this fact with other masjids in the United States. Our local Eid celebration will be on Monday, March 31st (Shawwal 1st) at 9:30am MT, inshallah!
Ramadan 1446 AH (2025) Schedule of Events
MINARA members will conduct the Hilal Moon Sighting on Saturday, March 29th. (And again on March 30th if the moon is not sighted on 3/29).
Eid al-Fitr 1446 (2025) prayer and sermon will begin at 9:30 a.m. on either March 30th or March 31st, depending on Saturday’s Hilal Moon Sighting.
Preparations for Ramadan begin with our Zoom Meeting Feb 20, 2025 at 7:30 pm and Hilal Moon Sighting on Feb 28, 2025 at 6:00 pm followed by the start of the Qur’an Recitation sessions on Zoom which will be conducted every night at 9:45 pm. Be sure to join!
Please participate in the regular weekly Homeless Feeding Program Wednesdays at 5:30 pm and Friday Jumu’ah Service at 1:30 pm. (All times are Mountain Time).
