It aims to foster strong community ties, provide religious guidance, and support individuals in their spiritual journey. MINARA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the Albuquerque community in the areas of Homeless Feeding, Islamic Da’wah, Health & Wellness, Language Arts & Calligraphy, Martial Arts (Judo) and Archery Classes. Preparing for Eid al-Fitr 2026
There will be a moon sighting attempt on Thursday, March 19 at 7pm MT. The moon sighting attempt will determine the start of Shawwal and Eid al-Fitr which could be March 20th at 10am when we begin the Eid prayer. Please send your Zakat al-Fitr ($11.00 per household member) prior to the start of Eid prayer. You may do so above through our payment portal.
